Fair Enterprise Network builds up companies on the foundation of social responsibility. We establish and develop new businesses in the developing world that combine commerce with ethical and democratic values. Presently two companies have been formed in Nepal, one producing recycled paper and the other websites.
Our purpose is to establish companies that; incorporate social responsibility, are sustainable and make a profit. Many companies located in developing countries only see to the fact that their employees are a source of cheap labor. We regard our personnel as the most important resources in making the businesses successful. We invest in our staff and see to that their competence is being utilized and developed. We provide good working conditions, insurances and education and we involve our staff in decision-making and shared responsibilities. This builds up the know-how within the company which makes our products and services to constantly improve and the commerce to grow.
